Meet the artist…

“You use a glass mirror to see your face; you use works of art to see your soul.”
George Bernard Shaw

I am a Midwestern artist and educator with a passion for storytelling, symbolism, and the healing power of creative expression.

I hold a BASA in Studio Art with a concentration in Drawing and a K–12 Teaching Endorsement. After several years teaching, I earned an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction along with an ESL Endorsement, which led me to work closely with immigrant and refugee students through art and language. Most recently, I completed a Master of Science in School Counseling, with the intention of weaving Expressive Arts Therapy into my counseling practice.

My artwork explores identity, transformation, and intuition, often through mixed media and collage. Inspired by the visual language of tarot and oracle decks, I create pieces that evoke archetype, memory, and the cycles of nature.

I currently live in the Midwest with my family, and when I’m not making art or working in education, I can usually be found reading, listening to music, or lifting something heavy at the gym.
